Traveling to Fell Foot Woods, Newby Bridge

Directions by car
Take the M6 to junction 36 then follow A590 towards Barrow for approx. 10 miles. When you reach the roundabout with junctions for Newby Bridge, Barrow and Ulverston ahead and Bowness and Windermere to the right take the right junction that skirts Lake Windermere. Approximately 1 mile down the road on your right you will see a sign for Gummers How. Take the next right after this turning into the wood yard of Lakeland Forest Fuels. Stop at the site shop and a member of the 4 Winds team will be there to greet you. If you do not manage to arrive at your designated time call at the site shop and inform Mr. Barry Houghton (the owner) of your arrival he will direct you to your tipi, and the toilets etc. For information see www.theaa.com
