Tipi Holidays
...

Our holiday with 4 Winds was one of the highlights of our year.
“We stumbled upon the Tipi field by chance and were so impressed by the site we booked a week on the spot.

The Tipi is a unique camping experience and with all the mod cons needed to make it effortless and comfortable, not to mention warm, but with enough atmosphere and ambience to give you a feeling of being in another place altogether.

Being able to light a camp fire every night was fantastic, even just for the thrill of sitting around it as it got dark, but also to cook on it too.

Of course the location is also perfect for seeing other areas of the Lakes, we visited Tarn Hows www.visitcumbria.com. and the Beatrix Potter attractions in Hawkeshead www.hop-skip-jump.com. as well as being able to walk into Ambleside and catching a launch up the Lake to Brockhole www.lake-district.gov.uk , which was a great place to visit for kids and adults alike.

I would recommend 4 Winds Tipis to anyone, in fact I do regularly! It is a wonderful camping experience even if camping may not be your first choice of holiday, staying in a Tipi is in a class of its own and we can't wait to come back which hopefully will be sometime next year.

Hope to see you next year.”
